I would be ok with that assuming he doesn't continue to play like hot garbage the remainder of the season

Brandon Inge played his hast game on July 21 in 2013 and was officially released 10 days later. Seems like they try to get at least a half season for the sunk costs that they pay to these washed up players.

Look at the pitch tracker on that Cutch at bat. This guy doesn't want to give the MVP anything to hit.

And Cutch doesn't care. He eats lefties for breakfast.

Might be pure sentimental bullshit but I like hearing the interviews with the new draftees. I liked KeBryan Hayes (seems kind of small) and Charlie was always a very likable player, even for a Phillie.

What surprises me is how mature these kids seem, having grown up (and been coached) through the expectations of a pro career, the advanced level of ball, etc. I don't think that even today, the average kid grows up as much as some of these guys. Cole Tucker last year, sounded like a 25 year old law grad student. How that translates to the field… maybe 5%?

Cervelli's walkup music makes me want to pull a van Gogh, but his hitting is pretty fun to watch.

Yeah, a whopping million dollars is going to keep him around. As soon as Lambo is ready he's gone.

Maybe it's more pride than money. Or maybe they haven't noticed he's stinxed? I don't think it's the money either but he's here for some damn reason and it ain't awesomeness. Maybe Coonelly thinks he really is the other Corey Hart. Because drinking.
