Play Harrison in right instead of fucking Hart.

What's that, 15 mil worth of platoon players on the right side of the IF?

You want to sit Walker against lefties periodically, okay. But making him a straight platoon guy is stupid.

Exactly. This lineup is basically replaces Walker with Hart. Walker showed last year that he can hit lefties. He may not have the numbers against them this year but that's not going to get better by not getting any RH ABs. And seeing them as a starter occasionally would help when he has to face a lefty reliever. They should have Walker at 2nd, Harrison in right, and Serpico at first.
"Well be comfortable adding one (starter), he said. Well be comfortable adding nobody if its just not there. We dont feel we are driven to force it. If we can add one that makes sense for us, thats great. If we can add two that make sense then we do that.

Career OPS against LHP:

Corey Hart - .857
Neil Walker - .656

I mean, I get that Corey Hart sucks, but getting bent out of shape over playing him instead of Walker against an elite LHP seems odd, especially when Walker has basically sucked this season.

Corey Hart is starting a fucking baseball game?

You have to keep those guys fresh because who know how bad a stale Corey Hart could be.

I just took a gander at Corey Hart's stats.

After throwing up, I noticed that he has hit into five double plays in 41 at bats. You pretty much have to be trying to hit into that many double plays.

Shoes

That would be 60 over the course of a full season, if he played regularly.

What, did he turn into Tim Neverette?

And Walker had a .727 OPS against lefties last year. Another reason he should be playing instead of Hart.

This is a dumb stat. Did you look at the sample size? I be shocked if it's much more than 100.

His career number is in the .650s. He should be replaced against lefties if there are reasonable options to do so. At the moment, they're one reasonable option short, and Polanco is worse against lefties, so Walker should be playing.

Impressively efficient inning for Burnett.

I don't want Corey Hart on the team it doesn't matter who he is playing for, etc or how that player fares

I just said Walker should be playing. No problem with Polanco sitting. They can platoon Polanco with Harrison, Alvarez with Rodriguez, and keep Walker in the lineup. A dumb stat is citing Harts career OPS against lefties when he should have retired after 2012.

Hamels struck Hart out three times when they faced each other earlier this season, and he just did it again. I think Hamels basically owns him.

Really weird to see a sloshy alias digging in on an issue as critical as Walksr not starting against a great LHP after I comment upon it. That's as rare as getting delayed in PHL.

I'm sure his wife and children get enough to eat, and he doesn't torture puppies for fun. But in baseball? Yeah, he just sucks.

You know who doesn't suck? A.J. Burnett.
