Remember when the Penguins were setup to win 3 cups in 6 years...

I think this is why I hate Chicago so much now. That was supposed to be the Penguins.

Amazing what a good front office can do.

I was speaking just in terms of the hockey team, but you're 100% right. I've never met a person from Chicago that wasn't a total fucking asshole

Well, yeah. I can't say that I necessarily hate the Blackhawks, but its very bothersome every time they win the Cup. It's like a bright neon light that points out how disappointing the Crosby/Malkin era has been. Yes I said disappointing.

Kane and Toews scored two goals in the final, and one of them turned out to be a completely meaningless goal that didn't change the outcome of a single game. They still won in six against a damn good team.

Meanwhile, Crosby and Malkin will open next season skating next to Pascal Dupuis and Drew Stafford.

They come out of the woodwork when they win. They're locusts of sports fans. Annoying, loud, and just a pain in the ass. And they always think their city is the greatest ever. Yeah no, enjoy your shitty roads, horrible traffic and drivers, and gun violence you pretentious assholes.

That said I envy Kane and Toews.

I'm seriously fucking terrified at what Rutheford is going to do this offseason.

Its like that moment when you're with your buddies and they're driving. And you realize, he's way drunker than you thought, and he doesn't have his glasses on, and its raining, and he has dementia, and he won't buyout Rob Scuderi. Thats when you grab the "oh shit handle" on your car and pray to whatever god is listening at the moment.

You are not making me look forward to moving to Chicago next month
I am nevertheless too sensible of my defects not to think it probable that I may have committed many posting errors.

I always turn to the sports pages first, which records people's accomplishments. The front page has nothing but man's failures.

Just don't be black and you're probably fine. And don't go to the south side.

The first part might be hard to avoid ... the second part is where seemingly all the strip clubs are ... at least that is my impression from the highway ....

Jacques Martin is now the special assistant to head coach Mike Johnston.

I don't know.

Huh? Is he now ahead of Mario's boy (Tocchet) in the pecking order because the word "special" precedes assistant?

Is Rob Rossi still special assistant to Dan Bylsma's penis?

#mnwild has placed Matt Cooke on waivers for the purpose of giving him his unconditional release. More: http://ow.ly/Ov3p3

Wish Rutherford would use a buyout...

I thought I saw a tweet this morning saying that Scuderi is likely going to be around again this year
