Back to the Steelers: Will this secondary finally be better this coming season?

It was better last year. People have unrealistic expectations sometimes. Pass defense jumped from 30th to 16th in yards allowed. Y/A dropped a half yard, and rose from 18th to 15th. And all this happened with less of a pass rush (dropping from 48 to 38 sacks due to injuries). ANd this was all with two rookies starting most of the year.
I am nevertheless too sensible of my defects not to think it probable that I may have committed many posting errors.

I always turn to the sports pages first, which records people's accomplishments. The front page has nothing but man's failures.

Looking forward to seeing what James Connor can do for this team in certain packages.

Burns and Davis having experience, I feel like it has to be better right? The safety depth is a concern, and i would hope Golson or Sutton can get in the mix at corner.

Golson?

He'll trip over a blade of grass on day one in camp and break his leg.

Golson makes beau bennett look like cal ripken jr
Jose Tabata, Pedro Alvarez, and Andrew McCutchen are the new Jason Kendall, Brian Giles, and Kevin Young (in his prime) players that are good, but surrounded by crap which will make them losers.
Who needs a good team on the field when you have fireworks and bobbleheads!

Not enough of a "superstar." Plus, Sykora was not on that team.

Yes he was. Got to skate with the cup and everything.

Oh man, that is right. He was such a small part of that playoff run I completely forgot about him.

Anyway, I'm trying to figure out since when we care that professional athletes bang tons of women, and why we started doing it.

I think a lot of it started with Tiger Woods. When everyone thought he was the squeaky clean guy and they realized what he was doing. Since then people have been very worried about the sex life of pro athletes

I wish others were worried about my sex life. Namely, my wife.

I mean people on this board. I rarely look for reasons behind the general public's behavior. How often is the answer anything other than "idiots doing idiot things because they're idiots?"

Many people on this board are not idiots, though.

Former Steeler and Cleveland Brown CB Justin Gilbert banned for 1 year.

So, did the Steelers have an inkling he was using and dumped him? Or did he get desperate after washing out twice in a year?
