If i am phil kessel's relatives i would have been sending emails and tweets to all the Toronto writers every time he does something good for the past year.
I am nevertheless too sensible of my defects not to think it probable that I may have committed many posting errors.

I always turn to the sports pages first, which records people's accomplishments. The front page has nothing but man's failures.

Impressive comeback against the Sharks tonight, especially with just 4 defensemen.

Murray signs three year extension at $3.75m per. Supposedly will practice today.

If I was Phil Kessel I'd have filled the Stanley Cup with hot dogs and waved my dick at the writers.

That will be nice for the team that selects him in the expansion draft. :ugh:

I do not understand how these shit head media talking heads keep their jobs. Hell, Skip Bayless and Colin Cowherd managed to get big pay bumps and they are both dipshit racists that make shit up as they go along without any penalty.

of course, I think it is pretty awesome that Steve Simmons manufactured the story about Kessel out of thin air. Good job, eh!

Fleury gave up a very typical goal after misplaying the puck. Other than that, he was spectacular all night and kept the Pens in it the first couple periods. Sid is still awesome, Malkin is too although he still takes stupid fucking penalties, and Kessel is really fitting in now.

The Pens won 5-4 in a highly entertaining game at the Wells Fargo Center against the Flyers. That puts the Pens at 6-2-1, and 3 points up in the Metropolitan Division.

Scary part about them is they haven't really looked all that great so far.
Jose Tabata, Pedro Alvarez, and Andrew McCutchen are the new Jason Kendall, Brian Giles, and Kevin Young (in his prime) players that are good, but surrounded by crap which will make them losers.
Who needs a good team on the field when you have fireworks and bobbleheads!

I've been thinking the same thing. They seem to be giving up a lot of shots. I'd like to see the return of DJF to this thread, armed with some advanced stats, to see exactly how they're doing.

The Kings had not scored in over 3 games until a weak goal by Fleury.

Fleury is fucking finished. They should have traded him in the offseason, even if the return was underwhelming. They sure as shit aren't going to be able to trade him now.

This loss is not 100% his fault. Any time there's a short-handed goal, the skaters fucked up. And you're usually going to lose when you get outshot. But it would be nice to have a guy who at least stops 90% of shots on a consistent basis.

On the other hand, this Guentzel kid...is he for real?

The Penguins aren't what their record says they are.

They've looked kind of bad for much of the season.

Hockey season is sooooo long though. They have the pieces to look good when it matters, not looking good right now isn't overly concerning so long as they put together enough points to stay in the playoff picture.

My father-in-law and I have always joke that it's going to be a good year when they look like shit at the start of the season. Seems to mostly hold true.

What a shitty nickname. Sounds like something from a Will Ferrell movie.

You represent Vegas. How about something more unique to the city. The Aces? The Lucky Sevens? The Trumps? The Dirty Whores?

Sorry, that one might be a bit too personal.

I don't know if the Army copyrighted the name of the parachute team named the Golden Knights.
