A reporter tried to interview James Harrison. I'm not sure if he succeeded or not.

Do you remember all the hoopla around Tom Brady's 40th birthday in early August? Well, James Harrison doesn't.

"I didn't know he turned 40," Harrison said, just a week after Brady's birthday was treated like the coronation of a king in some quarters of the sports world. "I thought he was already 40."

I love James Harrison.

what solid game?

The three dropped passes? The continual trying to break it outside early? The tripping on the lineman's foot?

He'll be good, but he was rusty and it showed. Even if it was decent, he rarely looked that bad at Pitt.

Agreed. While he had some good bursts, the drops and the tripping were hugely disappointing. Dobbs and Connor not looking promising so far. But Watts and Hilton look like they could save this rookie class.

If we sort by yards per carry, he's no Nachoman.

Leveon tweeted he would be back 9/1, right after preseason game 4.

turns out I have the #1 pick in my fantasy draft. Basically I'll draft one of these three:
(1) LeVeon Bell
(2) David Johnson
(3) Antonio Brown

I'm leaning towards Bell. He's got that added plus of being on the Steelers. Johnson is tempting. Arians will definitely lean on an RB and there's really not much there to take away scoring opportunities. Of course he has to show he can do it again. So it might be a choice of a guy that will get volume every single game with not many other options vs. the guy that will get volume and is the top offensive force in the game (with the one caveat of so much talent around him).

Brown is still the top WR and in our league you need several WRs but it's hard to pass on Bell and Johnson since RB is more consistent scoring and the Steelers have options beside Bell.
You're pretty on the inside,
That's better than not pretty at all,
You're pretty on the inside,
Too bad I'm an outside kinda pretty guy.

I would take David Johnson, because he's the only one of the three that doesn't act like a clown.

With Landry Jones being Landry Jones and hurt on top of that, and Josh Dobbs clearly not being ready for a No. 2 role, and with Ben's inevitable 2-3 games sidelined on the horizon the Steelers need a backup qb. Still. They should sign Kaepernick. 16-4 TD-INT, 90.4 passer rating a year ago.

Plus it would make Winter stop watching the Steelers.

A win all around.
