A fun night indeed. That was when I discovered asksing Jimbo where he thought the best place to hide and molest children at Disneyland was could get one banned from OBN.

And good old PF82

There were so many good threads back in the day. My favorite was when everyone, and I mean, everyone, went over to the Padres board at ESPN and asked them questions about midgets and a certain actor.

This time Winter has gone too far.

It is ok to slam Opie, or OBN but he should be able to do that without insulting Matlock.

If it wasn't for Matlock and Diagnosis Murder tv would have been a vast wasteland not worth watching.

they decided to ban me one day without warning.

And I hadn't violated any of their precious forum rules.

And I hadn't been warned.

I know your pain. Its like a someone took a pick axe and slammed it into your gut. It's ok to cry. I know it helped me turn the corner.

I'm confused. Were you the PF82 that banned everyone from the ESPN board, or are you just using that name as a joking homage to him?

.WiH.

Considering that I:

1) Attended a private university that I guarantee someone has heard of

2) Am not currently hanging out with girls

I would have to say the latter.

I believe that #1 and #2 are related.

I wasn't around back then but reading that thread caused me to laugh so hard that I started crying...that was funnier than all hell...however I must pick a nit with Penguin over one thing that I read...Penguin wrote...

'Laverne and Shirley' used to be the #1 rated show on television.

Does that mean it's good?

The short answer is...yeah...that means it's good...One can never get enough of the girls from Milwaukee...Shotz beer...the Big Ragoo...Lenny and Squiggy...now that is American Television at its greatest.

Again, I disagree. They spent money to build a new minor league facility. They have been amongst the tops in major league baseball in the draft the last two years. Not saying they shouldn't have spent more money - not signing Sano was an error, although I don't believe that was a money issue.

It's just like DJF said, the opportunity hasn't presented itself for them to spend big bucks. They aren't ever going to be the Red Sox, obviously.

I will take Robert Nutting at his word. He's clearly a very different creature than Kevro as he's show some business acumen prior to taking charge of the club so I'm willing to place some trust in him.

This fail from Crim is so painful it hurt reading it.

But the comedic gold provided by Pblowma from earlier in this thread is absolutely incredible. I remember at the time this thread was live, I laughed harder than I might ever have laughed in my life.
