I think it's just that he's not going to start much against LHP.

Yup. There was a puff piece in one of the papers saying how Cory Hart was going to get a chance to come out of his slump against this rare string of lefthanders and that he was "this close" to breaking out of it.

The fact that he's not should be the writing on the wall for Hart, hopefully that a release is imminent. It's pretty clear that Pedro is being sat down against the LHers.

They have to let Pedro or Polanco play in Chicago and use the extra man from Kang, Mercer, and Harrison as a DH. Hart is finished.

The front office will not admit their mistake with Hart until after the all star break.

Yeah, a whopping million dollars is going to keep him around. As soon as Lambo is ready he's gone.
``Weve got some holes were looking to fill. We dont feel like we desperately have to do anything. Were in a great spot to be in. If we can upgrade, outstanding. Upgrade at an appropriate acquisition cost, even better.

I'd like to say "'fuck Greg Luzinski" but he was kind of awesome.

Fuck jerseys with collars and baseball shorts.

The shorts were super ghey, but I always liked those jerseys. Probably just reminds me of my childhood. It's likely the same reason I'm a big fan of double anal.

Fuck Rudy Law, Mike Squires, Ron Kittle, Greg Walker, Tony Bernazard, Bill Almon, Vance Law, Britt Burns and Richard Dotson.

But Chet Lemon was the man.

"The Bay trade doesn't look like it (a slam dunk winner), but if you take into account the fact that all they lost was eight months of Jason Bay's services, as well as the fact that even the Red Sox look like they won't be able to re-sign him, it's not nearly the loser many people seem to think." - tWTM 11/26/2009

"Morton is finding himself, now while this may sound weird and out there, but the fact he put on a solo concert at Piratefest shows he finally has the confidence that he lacked within himself that he didn't have in the lower minors." - aso513 2/8/2010

"Dave Littlefield vindicated." - Xiga 4/30/2011 after one scoreless inning of relief by Daniel Moskos.

Is that really a better option? Jaff has had a better year than both.

And why you love my jizz crisps.

Harold Baines was pretty cool too.

And Disco Demolition Night was pretty dy-no-mite.

Is he still in the system? He's not anything approaching a special player, but if he can come in and be Alex Presley, that's better than the team's current fourth outfielder.

That's what happens when you put the guys with real on-base skills at 3-4-5: baserunners who go to waste with two outs.

Brandon Inge played his hast game on July 21 in 2013 and was officially released 10 days later. Seems like they try to get at least a half season for the sunk costs that they pay to these washed up players.
