That's the best game I have been to. Plus our seats are 3 rows up on the 48. My god that was a lot of fun.

My Irish eyes aren't smiling, but that was a tremendous game. ND couldn't stop big #18 and that seemed to be the difference.
In any human group, family, tribe, (or baseball team), there are norms - shared expectations of behavior. Any member who deviates from these norms calls into question the basic values of the group. And groups don't like to have their basic values questioned. It makes them nervous. - Jim Bouton in Ball Four Plus Ball Five

What about doctors who make house calls? Repairmen who know how to fix things? And ballplayers who hustle? And boxers who get carried out of the ring, instead of quitting because of stomach cramps? And what about the death penalty for scum who take a human life and snuff it out like it's so much garbage? I've seen the past, gentlemen, and it works. - William Shatner as T.J. Hooker in episode 1.1 'The Protectors'

It seems likely that removing the sense of closure from book writing will, in time, alter writer's attitudes toward their work. The pressure to achieve perfection will diminish, along with the artistic rigor that the pressure imposed. - Nicholas Carr from The Shallows

Hey uh, there's a big game today.

What a ghost town.

I'm so looking forward to the Pitt-Penn State game. My son is at the game. I want Pitt to get back in the swing of things and become a nationally ranked program. I know nothing about this year's Penn State team.

Wyoming always plays Nebraska tough. The Cornhuskers only threw 13 passes last week. That's going to need to change for this morning's game.

Really? I don't think Pitt's going to win the ACC or anything, but I think they could go 8-4.

Watching two teams with an 8 win ceiling isn't super exciting. At least to me.

A win today could be the difference between an Independence Bowl bid or a Quick Lane Bowl bid for Pitt and its traveling fan base.

It doesn't look like Penn State will really get in the way of that

98 yard drive. That was impressive.

How many touches does Barkley have?
``Weve got some holes were looking to fill. We dont feel like we desperately have to do anything. Were in a great spot to be in. If we can upgrade, outstanding. Upgrade at an appropriate acquisition cost, even better.

Pitt's defense may be the strength of the team.

Not that many. They decided to come out passing.

Yeah, 3rd and five and running the ball up the middle had no chance.
