Does anyone have a chance to win the East other than Cleveland? Chicago has a killer roster top to bottom, but you can't count on Rose.

The top 5-6 teams in the West are ridiculous.

There's definitely a drop off after Cleveland/Chicago

I wouldn't sleep on Miami with Bosh back and a full season of Dragic, after that it's likely Toronto, Washington, Atlanta, Milwaukee and those teams are all a tier lower.

The West is absurd as you stated

Boston just might be pretty good.

You're right, left them out of that group by accident. They are coached well which already places them ahead of about 55% of the league and the roster is better than last year.

48 wins probably gets you a 3 or 4 seed in the East.

48 wins might miss the playoffs in the West. OKC didn't get in with 45 last year.

Is Philly going to be any better at all? They still look like a clown show to me.

they'll win 15 games. Jahlil Okafor will score points, Noel will defend, but that's about all they have going. It's more entertaining to read the 'leaked' stories about their front office and what a fucking disaster Joel Embiid is. Fact, Embiid was living in a hotel in Philly for a while and the team was concerned with his diet, so they hired nutritionists and chefs to make him food every day and stock his suite. The next day when they went back to restock the food, everything was still there and they found receipts for cheeseburgers and pitchers of shirley temples from the hotel bar.

I compete in two NBA fantasy leagues which are pretty serious, one is a dynasty league where you keep 10 players each year then have an 8 round draft (which mostly consists of rookies), this is my first year in this particular league, here is my squad:

Anthony Davis
Hassan Whiteside
Victor Oladipo
Deron Williams
Evan Turner
Blake Griffin
Otto Porter
Noah Vonleh
Harrison Barnes
Zach LaVine
Dwight Howard
Mario Hezonja
PJ Tucker
Raul Neto
TJ Warren
Jabari Parker
Donatas Motiejunas
Bismack Biyombo

I am obviously lacking a point guard, but most of my roster is young upside/stars

I've decided to start rooting for the Sixers again after a 30 year break. I'll see you in 2017 NBA thread...
Oh shit! There's stickers!

@basketballtalk: Lakers give Kobe Bryant day off because he was “really angry” https://t.co/eaF5Oo7GGz

That's going well.

Sixteen of the next twenty one Lakers games are on the road, and 26 of the next 35. This is likely to get really ugly, really quick. The second half of their schedule is better. They only have 5 road games in January and 3 in March.

That is hysterical. The Lakers seem like a fun team to watch in that "I can't believe how bad this is going to be" kind of way.

It's pretty awesome watching Kawhi Leonard defend against the best wing players in the game

much like MLB playoffs the NBA is completely random. Somehow the 76ers are up 5 at the half against Lebron. Jahlil Okafor should average 20/10 this season since he's pretty much the only game in town. Nerlens Noel's offensive game has come a long way since Kentucky.
