Jon Jaso: Power hitter. Sure handed outfielder.

We Will.

Pirates signed a new Chinaman. Could be an indication Kang won't be back.

Nah, the Pirates just want cheap publicity. They signed the first pro ballplayers from India and called up the first MLB players from both Lithuania and Africa. What they haven't done is acquired any good ballplayers. Winning is expensive.

Who did Osuna fuck that he's not in the starting lineup every day
Jose Tabata, Pedro Alvarez, and Andrew McCutchen are the new Jason Kendall, Brian Giles, and Kevin Young (in his prime) players that are good, but surrounded by crap which will make them losers.

Kuhl is pitching this year like everyone thought he would in 2015. Looks like he is going to go back to Indy or to the bullpen. Unfortunately, Williams is in same boat. At least we have Lindblom now.

The sad thing is Jaso has twice as many homers (2) as the everyday cleanup hitter (1). The BMTIB isn't even trying to put a major league product on the field.

Now officially the 5th worst team in all of baseball.

And the Giants right on their heels now.

As someone pointed out at Bucs Dugout tonight...

Friday through Sunday...Pirates are 14-4.
Monday through Thursday...Pirates are 2-19.

This isn't American Legion Ball where you just play weekends.

As bad as last year was for Cutch his OPS fell below .700 only once. His OPS this time last year (May 17) was .828.

His OPS right now......689

He's toast.

I still don't understand what happened. He appears to be in shape. He didn't suffer any significant injury that we are aware of. He is still relatively young. How do you go from an MVP candidate and potential Hall of Famer to total shit overnight?

As someone else mentioned on here, the steepness of his decline is almost unprecedented. it is mind-boggling.

He cut off his hair.
I am nevertheless too sensible of my defects not to think it probable that I may have committed many posting errors.

I always turn to the sports pages first, which records people's accomplishments. The front page has nothing but man's failures.

People still think signing McCutchen long term is smart?

His decline reminds me of the decline Dale Murphy had.
